As previously said, Scott wants to make http://airaim.com/ a simple non-fancy AIM website.

Thanks,
GetBack

Scott wants to make airaim simple because he wants his users to use it from anywhere.
(e.g. Cellphones, computers, PSPs etc.)

This is the most hilarious topic ever. A post made in July of 2007, which was bumped months later to be bumped again over TWO YEARS later to still be alive. This shows that AirAIM users haven't moved away yet.

To answer your question, GetBack has identified it properly, it is simple for any computer/mobile phone and other types of internet access to use it. Also, so people do not need to have AIM downloaded to get on AIM. Although their is Meebo, which is popular we all know, AirAIM introduces you a webmessenger that does not require Javascript and many other assets of website visitation to use it. It's simple HTML/PHP/MYSQL coding.
