The server had some sort of issue the other day, the issue has been resolved, although it is signing off more frequently than other times. It may be an error in the server like I said earlier, but I do not fully know, I don't manage the server. They're up now, but can have some bits not working, we'll have to wait on Scott's official note.

As far as I can tell, the issue in the past couple days has been with AOL's servers and not with AirAIM's servers, but the result doesn't appear much different to you unless you are also using another AIM client to either see it get kicked too or see a large portion of your buddies get kicked as well. You may notice these incidents with AOL less with other clients because they automatically log you back on, which is not the case with AirAIM. If that was the case here, the servers would endless have to service many accounts which nobody ever comes back to sign off (lots of "I got a new s/n: foo" type accounts). If I was ever going to add something like that, I think it would have to be a pay-for subcription-based thing just to discourage infinite idling..

Well, I had not noticed that the AIM servers were down. I noticed AirAIM users were signing off because I received a bunch of messages (should have never listed my screenname in signature) about it being offline. I was on my regular AIM client because I really don't use AirAIM that much anymore unless I am gonna go away and on my iPhone its really good to use. Well back to topic, I was not signed off, but it may not have been the full proportion of AIM users.

Anyways, it's all fixed now. :D
